Starting the year off right.
Today I would like to say that I will be trying my best to shoot more as I venture out on my daily lifestyle. By waiting for weekends and times at night to shoot something I will be toting my camera everywhere I go. I recently purchased a e-book called "Zen and the Art of Portrait Photography". A very enlightening book by James Digiorgio. It gave me an idea that we should shoot with feeling instead of for profit. When you shoot with passion, everything is art. Finding something to shoot was my biggest challenge, I have models (friends) I can use to shoot, but I have no theme, no fresh ideas. I have a new project I finally came up with on my own. It has a lot to do with my business slogan, "The Art of Capturing Light". I hope this project will be the catalyst that will lead to other creative projects, and eventually, "Clients". I think that portraits are what I want to shoot, and commercial work. But until then I will be shooting candid street shots, which I want to frame the artsy ones and sell them. I will be doing more photo share, mainly on the hundreds of Photographer Social web sites I can't stop joining. Blogging was another thing I forget to do, but I will correcting that problem as the weeks go by. This year I am going to be alot more productive in my photography. Studying, working, learning, shooting, and utilizing all this software I have purchased to make post-production simpler. 2013 is the year to move ahead, to focus on not being important, but a legend. That my grandchildren will have a legacy and not just memory.
